Eligibility Requirements

To enroll in the PharmaChem Academy Analytical Chemistry Program, the applicant must have an undergraduate degree in Science or Pharmacy from an Accredited University or College.

Through this program, we are looking to train currently employed individuals whose career prospects will be elevated through this training.

Course Structure & Content

Module 1

Complete five online courses provided by Biotalent Canada. These underpinning courses provide you with knowledge and competency in GMP, GLP, Laboratory Calculations, Report Writing and QA/QC Fundamentals that will assist you going forward with your learning at PharmaChem Academy. Once you complete these five courses, you will be ready to move to Module 2.

Module 2

Complete 14 online theoretical courses which covers each piece of analytical equipment you would be working with in the last module of the course.

Module 3

In person Lab Courses in our Health Canada approved analytical chemistry laboratory. Here you will meet with our experienced instructors who will brief you on the Standard Operating Procedures to be followed, provide you with the materials to be analyzed and mentor you through the use of the equipment, analysis and reporting. Here at Pharmachem Academy it’s all about assuring your competency as an analyst. Some students will take longer than others to meet that standard. Plan on the laboratory courses taking you 3-6 weeks in London, Ontario to complete.

Time Frame

  • The time to completion of your PharmaChem Academy Micro credential is largely up to you.
  • You could easily complete Module’s 1&2 if you worked at it in 7-10 working days. The lab course will take you from 3-6 weeks to complete depending on your capabilities in the lab.

Certification

Upon successful completion, receive a certificate from PharmaChem Academy that recognizes the student’s mastery of Analytical Chemistry concepts and techniques.
